Candles and Creams By London was created by Aileen London in loving memory of her son, Michael London who passed away suddenly from an accidental Fentanyl drug overdose in February 2018. One of the last things Michael gave to his mother in December 2017, before his transition, was a container of body butter from the place where he was working in the Charles County Mall. This picture is Michael at work shortly before we lost him.
As Aileen was searching for ways to alleviate the burden and transition from the grief of losing her firstborn son, she began to think of ways to help and encourage people to practice self-care. Candles and Creams By London, A Michael London Enterprises LLC Company, was formed in March 2019, the month Michael would have turned twenty-four years old and his second birthday in heaven.
Aileen hopes that by bringing awareness to drug addiction, and by spreading Michael's story through Candles and Creams By London, she can work to form The Michael London Foundation which will provide funding to single parents who can not afford drug addiction therapy for their children.
